Position: Director and Actuary - Annuity Product Management (New York, New

York)

Duties: Responsible for financial projection and pricing related reporting

of all annuity product lines. Interpret insurance industry reserve

regulations, and analyze macroeconomic environment and financial market

dynamics to determine pricing. Calculate prices of new life insurance and

annuity products and examine the profitability of existing products.

Research and perform statistical analysis of data to determine pricing

assumptions. Assist in the development of computer models to be used in

the preparation of financial reports. Project profitability generated by

the Company’s products. Perform actuarial research and statistical

analyses.

Requirements: Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics,

Mathematics or related field (willing to accept foreign education

equivalent) plus 1 year experience in pricing actuarial services for

insurance products OR, in the alternative, a Bachelor's degree and 3 years

of experience as stated above.

Also requires: FSA designation or ability to sit for FSA exam; demonstrated

expertise utilizing Excel, SQL, DBA, and Visual Basic to develop pricing

models for life insurance products; demonstrated developing pricing models

and financial projections using Prophet; demonstrated expertise performing

actuarial services in accordance with statutory reserves and GAAP

reserves; demonstrated expertise calculating annuities (fixed deferred and

guaranteed income) using statistical methodologies including regression

analysis, time series analysis, and stochastic modeling; and, demonstrated

expertise interfacing with partners, business executives and sales

representatives to communicate actuarial findings in a non-technical

manner.
