Job Description:

Define software application development and deployment approaches and

translate business and technical requirements into well-engineered, tested,

and deployed business application systems. Perform analysis, design,

development, testing, installation, and maintenance of information systems

and interface with customers and other Developers to determine most

efficient and cost effective approaches to meet business requirements.

Leveraging a variety of hardware and software technologies, will perform

new code construction, modifications to existing modules, and package

implementation. Apply disciplined software application development

processes and utilize leading edge technologies to engineer and implement

automated solutions to business problems.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems,

MIS, engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education

equivalent) plus 5 years of experience in the design, development, and

implementation of Java, J2EE, C/C++ and Perl programming in a Windows or

UNIX environment. Or, in the alternative, a Master's degree and 3 years of

experience as stated above.

Also requires: 1)Demonstrated expertise designing, developing, testing, and

maintaining web-based applications using C/C++, Java, and J2EE

technologies; 2) Demonstrated expertise programming Unix Shell scripts for

troubleshooting application issues, maintaining automated batch programs,

and monitoring application availability; and, 3) Demonstrated expertise

creating custom tools and generating reports using Perl scripting.
