Position: FSI IT Consulting Solution Architect Manager (New York, NY)

Duties: Interface with business stakeholders to translate business issues into technology solutions. Perform gap analysis, interface with clients to identify areas of IT risk in the client environment, and make IT strategy recommendations to improve business processes and systems. Supervise Consultants in executing systems analysis, solution design and development projects for clients in the financial services industry. Develop and implement technology testing strategies, including various stages of functional and technical testing. Develop and implement technology change management strategies in various client environments, including prioritization, release management, and business stakeholder involvement. Work with MS Access, Oracle and SQL for database development. Participate in SLDC and Agile projects during all the phases of project from planning to deployment. Ensure accuracy of project implementation based on user requirements.

Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field and three (3) years of experience in project management and systems integration in the capital markets industry, or in the alternative, a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field and five (5) years of experience as indicated above.

Also requires: demonstrated expertise in strategy and systems integration for loan initiation, securitization and secondary mortgage market applications; performing requirements gathering, business analysis and project management for regulatory systems integration projects, including OTC credit and rate derivatives applications; utilizing JIRA or Quality Center tools to perform prioritization of requirements and test management; working collaboratively with clients and team on all phases of the project including strategy, requirements gathering, planning, gap analysis/assessment, design, delivery, deployment, testing and user training; working with architects and developers to centralize business rules from various system applications, performing data analysis, and testing to ensure accuracy; interfacing with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional or technical solutions, and coordinate with development and quality assurance teams across multiple work streams; and researching industry trends, regulatory requirements and emerging issues, and working on proof of concepts, center of excellence and business development activities.
