Job Description:
Design and analyze product, pricing, and marketing tests,
interpret results, and communicate recommendations to various levels of
department and company leadership. Translate complex mathematical results
and conclusions for general business consumption. Utilize proven
scientific methods to design valid tests and confirm that tests are
executed properly across the organization. Analyze data and present
results and recommendations related to marketing objectives. Utilize various
tools to identify statistically significant performance and maximize
ROI through the identification of key drivers and stepwise
regression modeling. Manage a testing archive that details historic tests
and results. Manage calendars and designs for and around concurrent
tests. Manage post-deployment activities, including tracking the
performance of roll-outs to provide guidance concerning when remodeling or
retests should occur. Perform the role of test expert, mentoring
marketing teams on the value, processes and results of various tests. Education & Experience Requirements: Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics
or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)
and 3 years of experience performing analytical test\control
design, statistical modeling and analysis. Or, in the alternative, a
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience as stated above. Also requires: (1) Demonstrated Expertise (DE) developing statistical models,
including interfacing with marketing managers to analyze market analysis
needs, and translating requirements into test plan design; (2) DE
designing tests to generate statistically significant results, including
analysis of historic performance, generating projections, and creating
new test methodology and design; (3) DE designing optimization models
using statistically appropriate processes; (4) DE validating test
results, analyzing results using scientifically appropriate
methodologies, and working with data analysts to identify anomalies in data
results; (5) DE utilizing PowerPoint and Excel to produce reports, including
translating large amounts of data and information to present to different
levels with the organization; and, (6) DE utilizing SAS coding to
identify, enhance and analyze data sets, and working with and manipulating
large data sets as part of analysis, preparation, and data
