Job Description:

Build dashboards, provide analysis, and manage data to help drive the

performance of Infrastructure Engineering. Track operational

performance and measure impact and success of projects across all

functional groups within Network Operations. Analyze data to identify

opportunities to improve results on key performance indicators; analyze

data trends and identify root cause issues. Consolidate and report

financial and operational updates for all Infrastructure Engineering

projects to Senior Management. Gather data from variety of systems to

maintain procedural controls and compliance. Work with the Senior

Director, Performance Process & Metrics to design and implement

solutions and drive success-based metrics for assigned project

initiatives.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Master's degree in Finance, Statistics, Engineering or related

analytical field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus 3

years of experience in data analytics and reporting. Or in the

alternative, a Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience as stated

above.

Also requires:

1) Demonstrated expertise (DE) performing data analytics utilizing

Alteryx, Tableau, Microstrategy and Excel; 2) DE developing PL/SQL

queries to extract data from Oracle and Netezza, and create dashboards

to assist in data analysis; 3) DE performing requirements gathering,

translating requirements into data analysis framework, creating business

process modeling, and developing business intelligence, as well as

synthesizing current business intelligence or trend data to support

recommendations for action; 4) DE performing manual testing of data

queries and analytics to compare raw data to final reports; and, 5) DE

preparing and presenting executive-level analysis of data findings,

including creating stories using PowerPoint to translate analytical

results for an audience of business executives.
