Job Description:

*Worksite: New York, New York, with periodic travel to client site in

Nutley, New Jersey

Duties: Prepare and review engineering design documents and contractor

submittals. Conduct site visits and inspections and prepare investigation

reports. Perform spreadsheet analysis, engineering calculations, AutoCAD,

report generation, and provide field engineering support. Install Passive

Diffusion Bags (PDB) in monitoring wells, take synoptic water measurements,

perform soil and groundwater, soil gas, and surface water sampling, and

oversee monitoring of well installations. Plan, coordinate, and implement

field sampling activities. Evaluate and prepare samples and sampling data

in compliance with federal and state regulations. Assess environmental

data, assist in the planning of remedial activities, and provide

environmental insight for sub-contractors for low-flow sampling events.

Compile data tables for sampling activities and assist in training staff in

the implementation of new test procedures.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering, Environmental

Science, Geology or related field (willing to accept foreign education

equivalent) plus 2 years of experience in environmental due diligence. Also

requires: (1) Demonstrated expertise (DE) measuring and assessment of

subsurface contaminants; DE preparing reports addressing Phase 1

environmental site assessments and Phase 2 investigations; and, HAZWOPER 40-

HR Initial - RCRA certification.
