POSITION OVERVIEW



Sales Managers are responsible for establishing new Brand/Agency relationships and execution of sales activities in their defined territory. Primary duties include:



  • Sell, Sell, Sell: You will be expected to sell to existing clients as well as bring in sales from new clients.

  • Advertiser Relations: Identify opportunities and initiate relationships with new Advertising Agencies.
  • Salesforce: Diligent use of Salesforce to input and monitor all sales interactions.
  • Creating Proposals: Understanding all variables involved in Facebook Ad sales to confidently propose estimates.
  • Client Development: Frequent liaison with clients during and after a campaign to reinforce AdParlor’s superior service.
  • Social Industry Knowledge: Understanding Facebook pages for Brands and how “Likes” can translate into valuable conversations and loyal consumers.




Additional duties include:


  • Cold calling.

  • Frequenting online advertising publications.
  • Involvement in other marketing functions.




CANDIDATE OVERVIEW



The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident leader with at least:



  • A minimum of 3 years sales OR digital agency ad buying experience

  • At least 1-2 year working in online advertising, affiliate marketing, software sales or social media

  • Experience selling online advertising to large digital agencies is highly preferred

  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other software




The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following abilities:



  • Analytical: Must be able to comprehend the variables that drive successful online advertising campaigns and translate into comprehensive proposals .

  • Independent Decision Making: Uses intelligence, analysis, consistent rationality and objectivity when making decisions. Anticipates consequences of judgments with the ability to work autonomously with little supervision.

  • Energetic: The ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapid fast changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture.

  • Driven: Motivated and hard-worker who is always connected to the internet and passionate about the industry.

  • Communication (written & oral): Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish, develop and maintain business relationships, as well as have excellent presentation, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
