Job Description:
Will lead the analysis of customer business requirements across
multiple functional areas and technical platforms. Will address complex
application design and troubleshooting problems in Information Technology
(IT) involving large and inter-dependent systems, new technologies,
and significant architectural issues with broad business
implications for Investments. Will design, develop, implement, and support
Investments business applications and processes to satisfy the culture of
urgency and complex business requirements that prevail in a rapidly-
changing Investments climate. Will provide technical mentoring and
coaching to team members and effect knowledge transfer through on-the-job
training, technical presentations, and on-going technical assessment of
team performance. Will manage the daily activities of a 5-person
Software Development Team (Developer III, Associate Developer, Business
Analyst, System Analyst-Consultant, and Developer-Consultant) and
collaborate with team members to maintain momentum on daily progress, work
streams, resource allocation, project milestones, and deliverables. Will advance
the strategic integration, direction, and adoption of IT, Data, and
Services with consensus-building around Industry standards and “best of
breed” principles. Will collaborate with IT leaders to evaluate, pilot,
and adopt new tools, devices, and services. Will conduct current state
Investments technology reviews and collaborate on the development of
Investments technology 3-year future state roadmap. Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology (IT) or related
field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) as well as 5
years of experience managing medium to large-scale technical IT projects.
Or, alternatively, a Master's degree and 3 years of experience as
noted above. Also requires: (1) Demonstrated expertise developing and
maintaining financial services applications using the following tools and
technologies: Microsoft software development tools, C#, ASP, JQuery, Web
Services, WCF, SQL Server, SSIS, IIS, and Enterprise Library; (2) Demonstrated
expertise performing Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) management and
execution; and, (3) Demonstrated expertise transferring technical knowledge
to team members through on-the-job training, technical presentations,
