Job Description:
**New York, NY and various unanticipated worksites throughout
the U.S. Work with Functional, Business and Technology groups to define
and execute technology programs. Develop a detailed understanding
of business requirements and solutions, and convert business
requirements into technology specifications. Liaise between business and
technology groups to ensure a complete understanding of the end solution.
Define business cases and present to business sponsors. Review
feasibility and project risks, define project scope, and conduct gap analysis
and build vs. buy analysis. Perform regulatory compliance and ROI analyses
for proposed projects. Develop program/project budget, leveraging
his/her team. Participate in the RFP / RFI process. Ensure successful
project management of assigned projects, and oversee all project
phases, coordinating with business partners, vendors and internal IT
teams. Ensure delivery in compliance with relevant standards and
methodologies. Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and track issues to
closure. Requirements: Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems
or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)
plus 3 years of experience performing business analysis and project
management in the finance industry. Or, in the alternative, a Bachelor's
degree and 5 years of experience as noted above. Also requires: (1) Demonstrated expertise working with business users to
perform requirements gathering, and partnering with technology teams
throughout all phases of the project life cycle for investment and
financial management technology projects; (2)Demonstrated expertise
overseeing technology teams to ensure that developed applications meet
business requirements; (3)Demonstrated expertise designing testing plans
and overseeing user acceptance testing; (4) Demonstrated
expertise performing project management, including creating business cases
using Visio, obtaining budgetary approval and project approval, and
managing project scope, timeline and budget; (5) Demonstrated
expertise performing gap analysis and Build vs. Buy analysis, interfacing
with technology teams to perform analysis, and creating visuals of
analysis using Microsoft Office; and, (6) Demonstrated expertise
interfacing with Compliance department to analyze potential regulatory restraints
