Job Description:

Perform systems and programming activities for complex or business-

critical applications, including system design, coding, testing,

installation, documentation, and post-installation audits. Participate

in Agile projects and mentor onshore and offshore junior developers.

Develop software using Java technologies using Spring framework and

Tomcat server. Utilize CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks

to develop web applications. Develop Android applications using Java.

Perform relational database development using MySQL. Build and

integrate applications with SOAP and RESTful (XML, JSON) web services.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology

or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus 3

years of experience performing web and mobile application design and

development. Or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of

experience as stated above.

Also requires:

1) Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing web development

using Java, JS Frameworks, and HTML for video and cable applications; 2)

DE performing Android app development using Java with Android Studio and

Eclipse IDEs; 3) DE operating in a Linux environment; 4) DE publishing

Android mobile apps to Google Play store; 5) DE performing version

control using SVN and GIT; 6) DE performing manual debugging of web and

mobile applications using Fiddler and Charles Proxy; and, 7) DE

interfacing with executives to analyze requirements, and making

presentations to demonstrate current applications.
