I am an award-winning business and technology executive with significant experience directing and implementing project management disciplines on a large scale (ie. commercial and internal operation/support). During my IBM career, I touched virtually all business sectors from Government to Retail and every delivery process from PMO to applications development.
Well-versed in identifying and organizing the management and technical talent necessary to deliver the solution, I have utilized my leadership ability to lead organizational integration, assimilate job requirements and incorporate new technologies. I have managed account budgets as high as $24M and staff personnel up to 175.

I earned my BS in Computer Science from Texas Southern University with additional core studies in Information Systems at Union College, as well as a PMP certification . I was awarded multiple Executive Awards for Excellence at IBM and voted Father of the Year in Kingston, NY.
SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Improved customer sat rates 90% on IBM key account. Inherited major retailer account saddled with low customer satisfaction and a high number of Open Incidents (OI). Established weekly status meetings and brought in more senior level SMEs to run team-level operations. Put management controls in place. Lowered OI by 52%.
- Led development of new ERP system for Government sector. Recruited internally as leader for new IBM Government product, known as Managing For Progress (MFP). Directed team, creating key processes for new initiative. Exceeded on all delivery dates and received numerous accolades from Senior Executive Management.
- Revamped control processes for more efficient delivery. Implementation team missed delivery date for new Point Of Sales(POS) system. Took control, managing implementation of all processes and Project Management Tracking/Control disciplines. Delivered product with minimum defects and each follow-on release was on time and within budget.
- Restored confidence and gained new business. Key account had decline in performance and showed cost over-runs. Asked by IBM management to schedule meetings with client and development/support team. Reshuffled delivery personnel and improved processes. Restored confidence and new contracts were gained within 90 days.
- Provided strategic customer training. Fortune 100 executives requested IBM handle store training program previously mismanaged by their internal team. Assigned experienced IBM project manager. Created new training material and rolled out program. Enabled early kickoff of needed store reduction plan, benefitting bottom line.

Delivery Project Executive, Director, Application Services, 2007 to 2009.
Operated as Senior Manager Fortune 100 major retailer account. Responsible for overall day to day senior management for multiple complex projects, vendor relations, contract management, negotiations and overall delivery.
Release/Senior Delivery Manager, Program Director, Application Management Services, 2006 to 2007. Responsible for managing the overall development, testing, QA, design, and deployment for a major Point Of Sales system.
Senior Business Area Mgr./Project Delivery, IBM Corporate, 1995 to 2005.
Practice leader for the IBM Real Estate, Data Management, Business Process/Transformation and Strategic Tools group. Responsibility included working with cross-delivery teams for application integration/development, hosting and testing. Key responsibility included managing the support/development activities for IBM corporate.
Prior positions with IBM: 1st Line Senior Business Manager; Technical Assistant to Director of IT; Program and Project Manager for Special Projects, 1985-1994.
Personal Interests: I enjoy playing golf, softball and basketball. I am a member of the Hudson Valley PMI chapter.
