NoHo Hospitality is seeking a STAFF ACCOUNTANT to join us in managing the Food & Beverage for The William Vale Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. - Job Duties and Responsibilities Execute daily accounting and financial related activities, which includes approving daily sales in our accounting system and reporting them to internal team Verify daily cash sales and tips and work with operations team to resolve discrepancies Assist the controller in monthly close activities Manage office purchasing needs Upload and approve AP invoices Reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and deliveries to ensure match and work with vendors to resolve discrepancies Perform additional ad hoc responsibilities as it pertains to accounting and finance Qualifications Bachelor's degree, accounting and finance are preferred majors, but not required 0-2 years of experience (hospitality industry a plus) Strong Excel and accounting software experience Analytical mindset with extreme attention to detail Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Entrepreneurial with a can-do, problem-solving attitude Desire to learn and grow Benefits: We offer medical, dental, and vision benefits after 90 days of employment for full time employees, as well as a 401(k), Short Term Disability, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Employee Dining Discount, Zip Car Discount, and a Referral Reward Program. .........................................
