Job Description:
Peloton's treasury operations/ accounts payable team is looking
for an enthusiastic new addition to the team to serve in the role
of Senior Team Lead- Accounts Payable. This position will assist
the Treasury Operations manager in overseeing all invoice
processing that encompasses all organizational wide spend (indirect
& direct). In addition,-- they will help to create & improve
processes to align with the dynamic needs of the organization. This
individual will oversee a team of 6-8 employees and report directly
to the Treasury Operations manager.-- Duties &
Responsibilities:
- Oversee invoicing operations for indirect spend
processing--
- Produce, review & analyze reporting that is essential to
measuring performance related to invoice processing--
- Produce, review & analyze control reports to access accurate
data entry--
- Make strategic decisions to add & shift resources within
processing teams in order to maintain low processing queues--
- Partner with business units to keep up to date of changing
invoicing needs--
- Partner with the Accounting & Financial Systems team to keep up
to date of coding changes & errors - Ensure timely & accurate
processing of invoices within Coupa, CoStar, Service Channel, & our
ERP system - Provide guidance & training to direct reports &
business units when needed--
- Provide creative & innovative suggestions on how to improve &
streamline our current invoice process - Oversee & implement
process improvements--
- Ensure all invoice processing activities essential to month end
close are completed within specified deadlines--
- Act as a liaison to address any open invoice processing related
matters that need to be solved - Oversee the education of business
units to become more familiar with where their spend falls within
the general ledger--
- Assist in ad hoc projects when timing permits--
- Assist in month end close and year end audit requests assigned
to the AP team Qualifications:--
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- 5+ years of experience within Accounts Payable, Accounting,
and/or Finance
- 3+ years of supervisory or managerial experience
- Ability to resourcefully manage time, people, and tasks
- Persistent and collaborative team player
- Forward and innovative thinker and doer
- Ability to creatively see the bigger picture and how the area
you are responsible for fits into it - A broad knowledge of
accounts payable procedures and accounting principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong planning, strategic, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze high volumes of information and multiple
process streams
- Highly motivated to develop and maintain internal & external
relationships
- Committed to operating in an ethical manner with a willingness
to adhere to all company policies and current financial
principles
- Ability to inspire & motivate team members to perform at
optimal levels
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- SAP, Coupa, CoStar, Concur, and Service Channel experience a
plus but not required - NetSuite and Excel experience required--
