Job Description:

WeWork is seeking a senior accountant with familiarity of public filings and SEC regulations and strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assist the financial reporting team in a fast-paced environment. This role will report to the Manager of Financial Reporting. The ideal candidate will be self-starter, willing to roll-up their sleeves and do whatever is necessary to help deliver a world-class reporting function. Responsibilities: Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and footnote disclosures including supporting documentation to satisfy bondholder 144A requirements (similar requirements as SEC 10K's/10Q's) Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and footnote disclosures for various international joint ventures with standalone US GAAP financial reporting requirements Coordinate with the Technical Accounting Group to gather and support information necessary to address required disclosures Coordinate cross-functionally across HQ and regional accounting teams, FP&A, treasury, legal and corporate technology to help ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statement disclosures Monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting and disclosure requirements Assist in preparation and review of consolidated flux analysis of quarterly financial results Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors Other ad-hoc accounting projects and assist in monthly ledger close processes as needed Requirements:-- 3-5 years of experience with some public accounting experience preferred Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required Strong Excel skills and the ability to manipulate large data sets (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables) Ability to produce quality materials within tight deadlines and simultaneously manage several projects required Ability and willingness to quickly adapt in a rapidly changing environment Experience with Workiva's Wdesk and Workday systems a plus About WeWork: WeWork is the platform for creators, providing hundreds of thousands of members around the world with space, community, and services that enable them to do what they love and create their life's work.
