Position Overview:If you are a smart, curious, self-motivated professional with a passion for commercial real estate and fixed-income securities, Freddie Mac Multifamily is the employer for you. The country's largest Multifamily lender, with a platform of over $80 billion annually, is looking to add a Senior to the Capital Markets Investor Relations team, focusing on supporting the marketing of our suite of securities, including our flagship K-Deal, SB-Deal and Multi PCSM programs and other credit risk transfer initiatives. We are looking for a team-oriented, energetic self-starter, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across an organization and support the Investor Relations strategy. The individual should have an interest in understanding and articulating Freddie Mac's various products and strategies of transferring risk. The Capital Markets Investor Relations Senior will be based in New York, NY**This position can be performed currently from a remote location in the U.S. but will require presence in a Freddie Mac office in the future.*** Our Impact:Freddie Mac is a mission-driven company supporting affordable and workforce housing is in our DNA. Our most impactful loan products are being securitized in various Impact Bonds offerings. Investor Relations team support all risk transfer activities, including Impact Bonds issuances and Capital Markets ESG related activities.Your Impact:In this role, you will be an integral part in broadening existing and potential investors awareness and interest in Freddie Mac Multifamily Bonds offerings and various CRT products. Responsibilities include:Develop, implement and manage databases and reports that directly support the Investor Relations strategy. Including identifying investment trends and preparing investor profilesCreate and drive marketing efforts of our suite of securities, including our flagship K-Deal, SB-Deal and Multi PC programs and other credit risk transfer initiativesContribute to innovative thought leadership on Freddie Mac Multifamily capital markets offeringsPrepare for industry conferences, investor meetings and events, as well as develop and update investor presentationsAd hoc projects to advance the Investor Relations strategy integrationAct as a liaison between investors and various Multifamily teamsResearch and collect data of the most recent industry developmentsQualifications:Typically has 3-5 years of related work experienceBachelor's Degree in business or related field requiredCMBS experience is preferredKnowledge of fixed-income securities is preferredExperience working with Bloomberg Terminal is requiredAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPointWillingness to travel in the United States (10%)Keys to Success in this Role:Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to clearly articulate ideas to senior management and external audiencesDemonstrated experience in determining objectives, developing plans to achieve them and leading executionExperience dealing with external vendors and service providers and coordinating their activitiesToday, Freddie Mac makes home possible for one in four home borrowers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing.
