Genesis10 is seeking an Operations Project Coordinator for a 12 month contract position with our client in the SEO industry located in New York, NY.Summary:The team connects users, experts and engineers to conduct research and seed new technology-driven initiatives. It is a diverse, dynamic team that works closely with academic institutions, think-tanks, media outlets, technology firms and others to end censorship, understand and disrupt the radicalization process, and confront illicit networks.Partnerships serves all Product, Research and cross-functional areas (UX/ Design, Marketing, Comms) and allows projects to move forward as we increasingly rely on external partners for activities : product development, launches, hand-offs, research, branding / marketing initiatives, communications, growth of user acquisition, etc.Position Overview: As Partnerships Coordinator, you're at the heart of building partnerships for the team, across all products and research areas. You'll be supporting our team at each step of deal-making, including helping deal-owners scope, structure and execute their deals; managing internal systems and processes; processing documents and purchase orders; updating or creating internal tracking tools and templates; coordinating with other teams (Legal, Operations & Finance); knowledge management and information sharing across the team. You help make deals happen for the team to move forward on its projects. You'll move quickly with the changing environment and will need to be up-to-date with the latest products and services. Every day will present new challenges. Prioritization and organizational skills are key to success in this role. You should be calm and collected under pressure. The ideal candidate is a world-class multitasker with paralegal experience who's passionate about improving operations and helping a team to achieve their best.Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

  • Helping deal owners scope, structure, draft and execute contracts for their partnerships deals
  • Creating documents (NDAs, contracts, summaries) and driving internal review processes, using existing or new templates and tools.
  • Tracking status of ongoing projects and engagements, using internal tools and emails to answer questions from team members and external partners.Detailed List of Responsibilities:
    • Interacting with various team members (deal owners) (PM, UXR, R&D, Comms, Marketing, Partnerships) regarding their deal-making needs and gathering all required information from them and from the relevant external partners
    • Helping deal owners scope and structure their deals, including drafting contracts, working closely with Legal and other teams (University Relations, Ethics & Compliance, Treasury, Finance, etc.) to define which contractual route or process to follow, and drive iterations with all these stakeholders until a mutually-agreeable contract is finalized and fully executed
    • Managing internal deal-making processes and securing approvals from relevant stakeholders.
    • Managing a high volume of contracts and agreements simultaneously, working closely with
    • Legal and other team members Conducting desktop research about specific partners, projects, or conferences to assist the partnerships team.
    • Tracking status of each deal and all external engagements with partners, responding to emails from deal owners and external organizations about the status of each deal, updating and using existing or new internal tools such as spreadsheets and knowledge-management applications (Salesforce).
    • Streamlining the deal-making process, including knowledge management and information sharing across the team, implementing / improving internal systems and processes; updating or creating internal tracking tools and templates; coordinating with deal-owners, Operations, Finance on budget and purchase orders.Requirements:
      • BA/BS degree in Business or Legal and/or equivalent degree.
      • 4+ years of administrative, operations or project management experience in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
      • Paralegal background, or experience managing contracts.
      • Experience engaging and working collaboratively with external parties.
      • Must have core skills in both Word and Google Doc (Word); proficiency in MS Office and/or Google Docs; and using a variety of knowledge management tools.
      • Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no corp to corp)Desired:
        • Demonstrated ability to gracefully handle time-sensitive duties, prioritize and manage several on-going projects simultaneously.
        • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
