Join our team today to become part of the story!The RoleWildBrain is looking for a Financial Systems Analyst to join our Peanuts team! Reporting to the Director of Financial Operations, you will be a part of the Peanuts Worldwide finance team managing the month-end financial closing process for revenues. This person will work closely with the SVP Finance, Director Financial Operations, and Corporate finance/accounting peers in addition to external auditors, international agents, and licensees.What You'll Do: Oversee monthly financial close process from a revenue perspective.Reconciling data movement from one subledger system (Jaguar) to another (FAMS)Preparing reports and analysis used by finance team, management, and auditInterface / post cash receipts, invoices, and general ledger entries from subledger system (Jaguar) into general ledger system (GP) on a weekly basis. Reconcile interface / posting to ensure accuracy and provide documentation for audit purposes.-- - Interface / post revenue entries from subledger system (FAMS) to general ledger system (GP). Balance and document accuracy.-- - Reconcile Account Receivable Aging report from subledger to general ledger. Also reconcile certain balance sheet accounts, such as deferred revenue, to ensure accuracy.-- - Analyze trends and make recommendations affecting business needs.-- - Ensure compliance with all corporate financial and internal control policies, including the Sarbanes - Oxley Act-- - Work closely with Corporate accounting/finance team in Toronto.What You'll Bring: Bachelor's Degree with major in Finance, Accounting or Business3+ years accounting and financial analysis experienceLicensing industry experience strongly preferred, with special focus on royalty participations and contract compliancePrior accounting/finance managerial experience at a high transaction volume company preferred.Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to gain trust and cooperation of various stakeholders to positively impact business performance.Required technical skills: MS Excel (Advanced Level), Great Plains, licensing system software experience helpfulWhat We Bring: Working at WildBrain is more than a job "-- - - it's the opportunity to join forces with extraordinary, insightful and imaginative people who will recognize your talents and encourage your professional growth and development in a work environment that promotes creativity and individuality.
