Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.7 years of experience with quantitative business analysis, data analysis, or a related field.
Experience in SQL or other data analytic tools.Preferred qualifications:Experience solving fast-moving and complex problems, with comfort navigating large data sets and refining ambiguous questions.Experience managing operations and projects with competing resources and priorities.Expert in stakeholder management, owning technical projects and working proactively cross-functionally with business and product owners. Demonstrated willingness to both teach others and constantly learn new analytical techniques, coding frameworks, etc.Solid analytical and technical abilities to drive data analysis and insights for executive audiences (e.g., SQL, R, dashboard creation, advanced financial modeling, statistics, programming), with attention to detail.Solid communication skills to distill information concisely to very executive audiences. This team provides strategic analysis and forecasting of Google's business-generating products to executive audiences, and as part of this team, you will have a unique perspective on Google's core businesses, services, and the ecosystems that they operate within.

As Senior Quantitative Financial Analyst, you'll be in a high-profile role at the core of our Buy-side Display and Apps strategy. You will analyze business performance, generation, and growth initiatives, and have the opportunity to partner with Product Management (PM), Engineering, and Product Strategy teams to help guide executive decisions. The name Google came from "googol," a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business. Responsibilities Analyze daily Buy-side Display and Apps business performance and opportunity, deconstructing trends and drivers to quantify and examine impact to the Ads business, and examine macro trends and impact to the Buy-side business (e.g., privacy changes, regulatory environment, competitive landscape). -Build and maintain scalable financial tools/infrastructure (e.g., data sets, dashboards) to provide updates on business performance, and contribute to the development of analytical frameworks/models to unlock new insights.Collaborate on Buy-side Display and Apps business forecasts, leveraging statistical packages to model growth and risk, and inform financial planning based on business growth.Provide thought partnership on optimal investment levels for business growth areas, and leverage understanding of Display and Apps businesses to help shape technical drivers of performance.Prepare insightful weekly/monthly business updates to leadership in the Buy-side Display and Apps business.
