Job Description:

Global Private Equity Firm in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a new full-time/permanent Administrative Assistant to support a Team of 6 Investment Professionals. Candidates must have a minimum of 2-4+ years of applicable administrative experience working in a fast-paced, corporate environment, ideally within financial services, and a Bachelor's degree is required. Ideal candidate should be extremely professional, organized, detail-oriented, and possess a proactive team mentality. He/She should also have experience supporting a team and have excellent calendar management skills.
Salary depends on experience (90-100k base) plus paid overtime and bonus eligibility; 100% company paid benefits (medical/dental/vision/disability/etc.), 401k match, etc.
Hours are 9:00am-5:00pm / 8:45-5:30pm (with flexibility as needed). Hybrid schedule (3 days in office/2 days remote).
Requirements:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to a team of 6 Investment Professionals of varying levels within the Private Equity Division.
  • Schedule and organize extensive meetings and appointments; manage and maintain busy and ever-changing calendars.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements and detailed itineraries.
  • Prepare, process, and submit expense reports.
  • Draft, type, and edit emails and correspondence.
  • Screen, answer, and route incoming phone calls; respond to emails/inquiries as needed.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects.
  • Provide back up support to other Assistants as needed.
    Qualifications:
    • Minimum 2-4+ years of applicable administrative experience working in a corporate environment, ideally within financial services.
    • Bachelor's degree required.
    • Accustomed to supporting a team of individuals/executives in a fast-paced environment.
    • Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
    • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
    • Proactive, assertive, team-oriented mentality.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
