Job DescriptionBehind the Design, a consulting organization in the luxury window furnishings industry is representing a well-established, high-end window fashion design company. Featuring a broad portfolio of projects in New York, The Hamptons, and more, they are experiencing rapid growth, and are immediately hiring an Accountant - Bookkeeper. For over two decades, they have offered the best in residential and commercial window treatment solutions. Their success is based, among other things, on listening to their clients to gain an understanding of their goals, needs, budget, and vision. As the Accountant, your contributions allow the organization to smoothly operate with financial clarity. Reporting to the Administrative Manager, you are responsible for maintaining day-to-day accounting functions, accruals, financial statement preparation, and performing general accounting functions, as required. You will also be responsible for making collection calls to our clients. As the clientele grows, you have the experience to take this role to a higher level with your established accounting processes and procedures.Responsibilities:

• Collections
• Reporting - Quickbooks Online management, P&L
• Management of Accounts Payable and Receivables as well as payroll
• Subcontractor and vendor 1099 preparation
• All reconciliations
• Analysis and management of expense budgetsWhat We Offer:

    • Collection call experience - fluency in the English language is mandatory
    • Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
    • At a minimum, an Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
    • At least 3 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping capacity
    • Quickbooks Online experience
    • Ability to work full time on-site
