This includes leasing, buying, and selling real estate, facilitating workspace design and occupancy, and managing the operations and maintenance of the facilities. The Senior Specialist, Data and Analytics will work across all these functions, and more, to support data driven decisions. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about data to join our analytics team. Specifically, the Senior Specialist, Data and Analytics will:Develop and maintain customized analytics solutions (and associated data models and transformations) to meet evolving stakeholder needs. Enable data storytelling by acting as key point of contact to create dashboards in a self-service environment, while also working towards moving these dashboards into a production environment.Drive end-to-end solution delivery from requirements gathering to user feedback sessions in collaboration with end users.Analyze data to detect patterns, trends, and anomalies and draw insightsCoordinate with Data Management team to integrate data governance policies into analytics, catalog data/dashboards, and align on data definitions/calculationsEmploy best practices to implement reusable/scalable analytics solutionsCollaborate with IT and 3rd parties to productionize self-service dashboards and reports, including testing and SDLC documentationDocument queries, scripts, and logic to enable repeatability and traceability of workGenerate and upkeep dashboard documentation to capture descriptions, definitions, formulas, feature enhancements, and change historyDrive self-service analytics by training/educating end users and power users through live demonstrations and tutorialsDesign and deliver creative ways to increase business engagement/adoption of tools and improve data literacy. Increased user engagement and feedback in dashboarding processTrack performance metrics and value creation generated through analytics solutionsRecommend and help onboard new tools and technology into AWS data lake platformPursue opportunities to leverage advanced analytics to make predictions and recommendations. Support the organization in a journey from descriptive to diagnostic analytics.Improve processes through automation to simplify the end user experience.Consolidate and maintain existing dashboardsDocument dashboards/reports, processes, terminology, and corresponding definitions/calculationsPosition Qualifications: Education Minimum Requirement: BS or MS in a quantitative fieldRequired Experience and Skills: 2+ years or relevant experienceBusiness and technical skillsInterpersonal skillsAdaptability in a fast-paced environmentHighly organizedPassionate about data using data to help people solve problemsDetail-oriented and "big picture" thinkerCreative problem-solverBI skills (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI)Programming skills (SQL, Python, R)Knowledge of AWS architecture a plusExperience with advanced analytics tools (Dataiku or similar) a plusOur Support Functions deliver services and make recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the culture of our organization.
