(S)he will prepare and submit on a monthly/quarterly basis, required State and County reports including, but not limited to Child & Adult Nutrition Reportsand County Grant Reports; regularly review all payables before processing; process accounts payable checks as a backup to the Accounts Payable Clerk when needed; assist in monthly financial report closings with journal entries and account analysis; prepare workpapers and assists in audit preparation at fiscal year end; perform special assignments for the CFO or Accounting Department Director as needed; and other duties, as assigned.REQUIRED: Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting; some accounting programcredits while working towards a degree; Must be computer literate and have some experience in computerized General Ledger System. Must function as part of the financial team and be capable of learning grant reporting requirements.
