All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK. Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster five months after receiving the second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two months after the J&J vaccine. Job Description MSK is seeking a Financial Analyst, Lead to join our Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences department! In this role, the Financial Analyst, Lead provides financial data analysis for the department under the direction of the Senior Financial Manager, including preparation and monitoring of all operating and capital budgets. You Will Also:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Finance Manager on budget variances, financial planning and budgeting.
  • Monitor and report on expenditures to maintain departmental Grants budgets.
  • Serve as a financial advisor to the Senior Finance Manager.
  • Collect, create and maintains pertinent statistics and data required for reports.
  • Prepare variance reports and financial analysis for financial planning.
  • Work with the Senior Finance Manager review monthly statistics and Petty cash Management, including Petty Cash auditing.
  • Assist Senior Finance Manager with special projects as required. You Are:
    • Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions

    • Able to work effectively in an environment notable for complex, sometimes contradictory information
    • Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances

    • Able to operate effectively, even when things are not clear or the way forward is not obvious
    • Adept at learning quickly, applying insights from past efforts to new situations You Need:
      • 6 - 8+ years finance experience is required
      • Advanced Excel skills preferred
