In the communities we serve, the company focuses its social impact on building a sustainable, inclusive future for all by supporting housing affordability, small business growth, financial health and a low-carbon economy.Chief Operating OfficeThe Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company's risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.Control Management OfficeEach of Wells Fargo's business groups and enterprise functions includes a dedicated Control Management team, led by a control management executive who is accountable to the company's Chief Control Management Executive.Through close partnership with the business process owners and business leaders, Control Management enables the development and maintenance of a strong control environment across Wells Fargo that leads to early identification and sustainable mitigation of operational risk.The RoleThe Control Room Insights and Analytics Control Executive is a critical leadership role in the Chief Control Executive function. - This leader is responsible for driving analytics and developing management insight across the firm's Risk Management transformation and BAU risk management efforts, and proactively driving the development and delivery of the firm's 'story' to all levels of internal (through Operating Committee and Board) and external stakeholders. - This position will partner closely with existing Control Program owners to deeply understand the data, work in flight, and risk outcomes in the business in order to drive the development of analytical and insight work. - - - This function is responsible for providing both production level Control related data and a team who manages collection data on an on demand or ad-hoc basis.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of ad-hoc as well as weekly, monthly requests related to Front Line Control Management and Operational Risk.
    • Partner effectively with the firm-wide Chief Control Executive as well as all BG/EF aligned Control Executives in receiving, processing and responding to requests.
      • Partner effectively with sister Product and Ad-Hoc reporting function in the same team, other Central Control Management teams and BG/EF aligned reporting and analytics functions.
        • Accountability for designing and implementing a consistent format for providing insights and analytics while remaining flexible where necessary to produce custom views and summaries as required.
          • Capable as requested to support analysis with senior executives including those at the OC level and willingness to challenge asks and bring forward ideas to senior executives.
            • Must build and foster strong partnerships across key functional teams and lines of business to ensure. timely and insightful delivery of relevant information.
              • Collaborate with sister functions and clients to help drive and/or improve automation and simplification of processes in order to produce timely and enhanced analytics.
                • Partner closely with lines of business and staff functions to produce risk and control reporting and various ad hoc analyses. This partnership includes gathering information and creating value-added analysis to understand and communicate key business drivers and impacts.
                  • Build, lead, and retain a high performing team including providing ongoing coaching and feedback as well as recognizing and developing team members to achieve their full potential. -The ideal candidate can balance strong analytical skills, attention to detail, management reporting requests and will be strong at developing their own perspective expressed through insights and articulated in presentations and reporting. A specific background in Risk Management is preferable but not required.Required Qualifications, US:
                    • 8+ years of Risk Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
                    • 4+ years of Management experienceDesired Qualifications
                      • Experience in a banking, strategy, consulting or related role covering the financial services industry (in particular, the banking industry)
                      • Prior experience supporting an OC/OC-1 leader
                      • Ability to synthesize and effectively communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences through excellent written and presentation skills.
                      • Embraces change and leads the organization to adopt change in a manner that mitigates risk and organizational confusion.
                      • Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain a highly engaged, high performing, and diverse team
                        • A leader who operates with a collaborative management style, is execution-focused, results oriented and has a demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed organization Demonstrated ability to lead multiple high intensity, high visibility work streams simultaneously.
                        • Ability to analyze multiple complex initiatives in various stages to identify dependencies, risks, and formulate recommendations.
                        • Demonstrated strength delivering effective solutions from concept to execution.
                        • Ability to collaboratively work with employees at all levels of the organization.
                        • Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners.
                        • Excellent facilitation, oral and written communication skills.
                        • Self-directed, pro-active, self-starter who excels in an environment with limited supervision.
                        • Record of adaptability, resilience, and effectiveness at engaging diverse teams with competing priorities.Pay Range:207,900.00 - 431,900.00 USD AnnualMay be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights or other long-term incentive awards**Due to a city-wide mandate in New York City, all individuals who perform in-person work or interact with the public during business must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or qualify for an approved accommodation to be exempt from being fully vaccinated. - Currently, this position falls under the scope of this mandate. **Pay Range$207,900.00 - $431,900.00 AnnualBenefits
