A professional services firm in New York City is actively seeking an experienced Core Tax Senior for a promising opportunity with their growing staff.
Responsibilities

The Core Tax Senior will be responsible for:

• 
  
• Applying tax foundational knowledge to understand potential tax issues
  
• Gathering client information necessary for filing
  
• Participating in tax planning, recognizing and communicating potential risks
  
• Preparing tax accrual workpapers and working with tax software applications to complete tax returns for review
  
• Supervising and reviewing the work of Core Tax Services Associates
  
  Qualifications
  
  
  • 
    
  • 2+ years of Tax experience
    
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Taxation
    
  • Microsoft Excel proficient
    
  • Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
    
  • Great interpersonal skills
    
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
    
  • Strong attention to detail
    
  • Highly organized
    
    Desired Skills
    
    
    • 
      
    • CPA or parts passed
      
    • Experience with Corporate Taxation, Consolidations, and Partnerships
      
    • Experience in a Supervisory role
