Banking Vice President - Power, Utilities & Infrastructure - (
23000121 ) Description POSITION:The Global Industrials Group is
actively looking for a Vice President for our New York office to
help support the Power, Utilities and Infrastructure coverage team.
This industry vertical is an active sector with many private and
public companies in the U.S. and internationally. The candidate
will have the opportunity to learn technical and coverage skills
and will ultimately have the ability to call on private and public
companies over the next several years.PRIMARY
RESPONSIBILITIES:Significant responsibilities related to pitching
as well as executing advisory and capital markets transactions for
a broad group of public and private clients. These responsibilities
will include the following:
- Assist in and lead the execution of M&A, restructuring and
recapitalization transactions as well as equity and debt
financings
- Work with a team on the preparation of pitch books and live
deal materials including offering memoranda, confidential
information memoranda, management presentations, lender
presentations, and prospectuses
- Direct the preparation financial analyses to include valuation,
discounted cash flow, pro forma merger, precedent transaction, and
comparable companies analyses
- Analyzing business plans and participating in due diligence
sessions
- Develop client relationships through deal execution and
pitchingThese responsibilities afford direct and active interaction
with the senior executive management teams of our clients.At

role is $275,000 Qualifications Either (i) a MBA and 3+ years of
investment banking experience as an Associate or (ii) an
undergraduate degree and 5+ years of investment banking experience
- Strong technical, written and verbal communication skills
- Detailed technical skills including valuation and
modelling
- Ability to manage direct junior teams on a variety of
transactions and projects simultaneously
- Resourceful self-starter, able to work autonomously and as team
player
- Experience in the Power sector is preferred
