Job Title: Internal Audit Senior
Location: New York, NY
We are a leading third-party recruitment agency, seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Audit Senior to join a dynamic team in New York City. The Internal Audit Senior will play a key role in driving the success of our client's internal audit function.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits and reviews of business processes, financial statements, and other operational areas to identify control weaknesses, operational inefficiencies, and potential risks.
• Develop audit programs, execute testing procedures, and prepare audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to develop action plans to address identified risks and control deficiencies.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives, including process improvement initiatives, system implementations, and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff and mentor them as needed. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant audit experience, including experience in a Big Four or large public accounting firm
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and other accounting and auditing standards
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • CPA or CIA certification preferred
