Job Description PrimaryPurpose
Conduct insurancepremium audits for Worker's Compensation and General Liabilitypolicies by auditing policyholder's records, and applyingmanual rules and company standards.

EssentialFunctions and Responsibilities - Job Description As a Premium Auditor,you will conduct insurance premium audits for WorkersCompensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies byauditing policyholder's records, and applying manual rules andcompany standards. Your job will be based from home with requireddaily travel to each audit location. Car travel will be on averageof 4 days per week within your assignedterritory. -
Premium Auditorsperform the following tasks:

• Prepare forthe audit by identifying the necessary information and typeof records needed
  
• Prepareschedule to maximize optimal use of time
  
• Correspondwith insured via phone, email and mail to setup auditappointments.
  
• Examine thepolicyholder's records, gather data to determine correctclassifications for business activities and write an effectivedescription of operations
  
• Preparecomplete audit document, explain results to insured andcommunicate the results to the home office

  Required/Preferred:
  
  • Atleast two years direct premium auditor experience, preferable ina vendor environment. Willtrain individuals with closely related backgroundexperience.
    
  • MinimumAssociates degreein Business, Accounting or related field preferred.
    
  • Experiencein bookkeeping, accounting or commercial insurance will beconsidered in lieu of a college degree.
    
  • Abilityto read, analyze and interpret financial documents
    
  • GeneralPC knowledge including Microsoft Excel and Word. -Knowledgeof Visual Audit is a plus.
    
  • Abilityto communicate well with customers and staff.
    
  • RepresentNEIS, Inc. in a professional manner.
    
  • Validdriver's license and satisfactory driving record (based on NEISInc. guidelines).
