Job Description:

Vaco is in search of an Accountant for our client based in the New York area. This will be a hybrid schedule so you must be able to report into the office 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience, preferably working with international entities as well. Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management and payroll processing.
• Organize, collect, and store the business's financial records, including cash flow statements, bank reconciliations, and loss statements.
• Any ad-hoc reports or projects needed.Qualifications:
  • Bachelors' degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong intermediate to advanced knowledge with Excel. Must be able to create pivot tables, worksheets using VLOOKUP's, etc.
  • Prior IFRS experience as this role will be working with offices overseas.
  • Ability to work with senior management team.
