Social Impact and Sustainability CoordinatorCooley is seeking a Social Impact & Sustainability Coordinator to join the Social Impact & Sustainability (SIS) team.Position summary: The Social Impact & Sustainability Coordinator is the centralized resource responsible for providing high-level administrative, project support and coordination for SIS initiatives. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Position responsibilities:

  • Code department invoices and send to Accounting & Finance for processing
  • Prepare and maintain various PowerPoint presentations, Excel files, and Word documents for SIS team
  • Assist with data entry, data management, and reporting through employee giving platform, Benevity, and other tools used by the SIS team
  • Prepare and generate various statistical reports as directed by the SIS team
  • Keep all files up-to-date and organized. Ensure materials are forwarded to Information Governance Department, as needed
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned or required by the SIS team and Pro Bono Partner
  • Serve as point of contact to attorneys and business professionals on SIS procedures/questions
  • Assist with SIS department budget monitoring and annual budget planning process as needed
  • Handle SIS event planning and logistics
  • Assist SIS Director, SIS Manager and Pro Bono Partner with SIS projects and initiatives, as necessary
  • All other duties as assigned or requiredSkills and experience:Required:
    • After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applications
    • After orientation and training demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Access and/or other database management applications
    • Available to work overtime, as required
    • 2+ years' prior administrative experienceSkills and experience:Preferred:
      • Bachelor's Degree
      • Previous law firm experience
      • Previous legal secretary and/or executive assistant experience helpfulCompetencies:
        • Professional demeanor
        • Strong interpersonal communications skills, both verbal and written
        • Ability to anticipate and identify project logistical needs and proactively support SIS team members
        • Ability to handle complex and fast-paced environment
        • Ability to speak effectively in front of an audience
        • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all records, files, documents and department information
        • Strong attention to detail
        • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks quickly and efficientlyCooley offers a competitive compensation and excellent benefits package.EOEThe expected hourly pay range for this position is $26.00 - $38.00.
