As a leading global 3PL (3rd party logistics) transportation organization with over 35,000 employees in over 400 sites across 18 countries, we pride ourselves on our customer first approach and commitment to operational excellence.Position Overview:The Accountant will support the finance team by performing various aspects related to the financial reporting cycle including, but not limited to, assisting with month-end close, the preparation of journal entries, and the preparation of account reconciliations and analyses.Work Location: This role is a remote role with the need to be within a commutable distance to our admin office.Work Schedule: First Shift - Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pmWork Travel: 0% domestic travel.Compensation: Attractive annual salary of $65,000 - $70,000 plus a performance-based bonus, with benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more.Responsibilities:Assist in all phases of corporate accounting including but not limited to accruals, fixed assets, depreciation, prepaid, lease accounting, month-end, and year-end closing processesAssist in the execution of the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reportingConduct thorough account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.Compile and analyze information to prepare journal entries for general ledger accounts per accounting standards and company policiesMaintain clear and accurate documentation for all financial transactions.Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statementsEnsure internal control procedures and policies are being followed and communicate exceptionsAssist with the preparation of other reports provided to managementAssists with special projects on an as needed basisWhy Join Us?Innovative Environment: Work in a forward-thinking company that values creativity and continuous improvement.Career Growth: Opportunities for professional development and career advancement within a growing organization.Inclusive Culture: Be part of a diverse team that values respect, collaboration, and inclusivity.Requirements:Minimum Requirements:Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting,Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting environmentKnowledge of accounting concepts and principlesPreferred Qualifications:Ability to analyze a wide variety of dataSelf-motivated, strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsComputer proficiency in MS Office, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft ExcelFlexibility to meet department deadlines when necessaryAbility to work in a growing, fast-paced environmentKnowledge of accounting systems (SAP a plus)#IND123 #BGReq Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision-FSA/HSA programs available-401K with matching program-Vacation and sick time-Friendly and Open-Door cultureby Jobble
