Job Description Job Description Robert Half is seeking a
detail?oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Manager to lead our
client's AP function within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
This Accounts Payable Manager role is responsible for ensuring
accurate and timely processing of invoices, optimizing AP
workflows, and supporting strong vendor relationships. The ideal
candidate brings a deep understanding of manufacturing payables,
three-way match processes, and high-volume transactional
environments. Responsibilities: Supervise and guide accounts
payable staff, including hiring, training, and performance
management. Establish and enforce performance standards to meet
service and operational goals. Oversee accounting and transaction
processes to ensure alignment with company policies and procedures.
Support the implementation and integration of Microsoft Dynamics
365 within the accounts payable department. Audit and manage
accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with internal
controls. Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledgers with the general
ledger to maintain accuracy. Maintain organized and accessible
records related to accounting and business transactions. Monitor
adherence to internal control procedures and address any
discrepancies. The ideal Accounts Payable Manager will have a
Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Finance and/or Management. MBA
preferred. Other requirements for the Accounts Payable Manager role
include and are not limited to: 6 years of AP management
experience. Manufacturing & distribution industry experience
Microsoft Dynamics experience Excellent organizational and time
