Job DescriptionCompany : Global Alternative Investment firm with over $60 Billion of AUM spread across multiple platforms including: Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate and public Equity.
Title : Sr. AccountingResponsibilities:Manage and analyze expense activityAssist with production and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings (Form 10-Q, Form 10- K, Form 8-K, etc.)Assist with all accounting responsibilities within the quarterly and annual reporting cyclesAssist in oversight of the function performed by Fund AdministratorUpdate and reconcile internal investment and accounting systems to Fund’s AdministratorRegularly review cash and position reconciliations provided by Fund’s Administrator and clear any discrepanciesSupport treasury and cash management operationsGather info for financial statement and SOX audit requests/research questions from auditorsAssist with various compliance reports (e.g., credit facility, BDC/RIC, etc.)
Requirements :4 + years accounting experience in a combination of public & privateCPA requiredFamiliarity with public company reporting, business development companies, alternative investments, private equity, fund administration, and general ledger systems are a plus.Strong understanding and application of accounting rules and industry accounting practices Company DescriptionWall Street Options (WSO) Executive Search & Consulting.
