Candidates interested in joining the Investments Middle Office will be selected, in part, based on their own personal alignment with these values and aspirations Responsibilities:

  • Simultaneously manage various projects related to middle office, compliance, administration and operations for the JPMS business including business process analysis, functional migrations, new product operations support and technology-related initiatives
    • Lead and/or participate in project meetings and represent the team's vision accordingly with both business and technology partners
      • Play a senior Project Manager role to manage one's projects and provide day to day oversight and coaching of a team of Associates for most of the projects they lead. (These Associates work on multiple projects and will also be directly managed by the team Manager where they provide direct support.
      • Coordinate with various areas of Operations, Middle Office, Finance, IT and Senior Management to build business requirements, procedures and processes.
      • Gain insight into the current tools/operating models via knowledge share sessions, become a Subject Matter Expert in various Middle Office and Operations Processes
      • Engage in new design discussions and document existing and future workflow processes (ie. Understand the scope of a project or a Business ask and further be able to develop an operating model, generate ideas of how to solve for a business need, identify risks and controls. )
      • Provide continuous feedback on project status to management and impacted stakeholders; update project tracker
      • Write test scripts, perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production checkouts (if needed)
      • Work with legal to establish the appropriate vendor agreement; determine service levels required (if needed)
      • Establish conversion plan and execute it accordingly (if needed)
      • Assist with developing training materials (if necessary), coordinate/conduct pilot training sessions (if needed)
      • Help define and develop the team's project management practices, tools and templates and support team development Qualifications include:
        • Minimum of 6 years experience in the financial/securities industry
        • Minimum of 4 years project management experience
          • Understanding of sophisticated financial/investment products
          • Strong Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and Project skills
          • Must be highly disciplined, a self-starter, and have the ability to execute on assignments independently
          • Team player and demonstrated work ethic
          • Ability to multi-task
          • Strong attention to detail
          • Strong capacity for operating in a flexible, dynamic environment where creative and strategic thinking is required
          • Excellent organizational and time management skills
          • Strong interpersonal and business communication skills
          • Ability to communicate with all levels within the Line of Business
          • Undergraduate degree
          • Strategic thinking and the ability to structure approaches to problem-solving, process design and other ad hoc analyses
          • Ability to analyze and interpret data to support root cause analyses and recommendation.
          • Ability to synthesize findings, create impactful presentations, including recommendations to senior audiences Wealth Management, Project Manager Role
