Heartland Payment Systems is looking for an Accounting Manager in Pearl River, NY This full-time position will support the Heartland POS business during normal/core business hours, and will focus primarily on sales and financial operations, and on customer communications regarding same. A successful candidate will be a mid-level Manager and be involved in mission-critical business functions and special projects that include owning data records and developing processes and systems for a large audience and possess an Accounting background. Must have strong people skills and be able to manage a team of at least 2 or more employees. This candidate should have strong leadership, management and training skills. Master all aspects listed below and have the skills and desire to grow into additional responsibilities in management, reporting and/or sales commissions. What will you be doing? Order-to-Cash Financial Tasks Regularly Scheduled on the Accounting Calendar Invoice creation and delivery Cash receipts scheduling, creation, and reconciliation Actively maintain and manage accounts receivable records and collections efforts Manage all product cancellation request processing and record maintenance Customer Communications Receive, track, and respond to all billing and transactional inquiries and statement requests Regularly communicates upcoming cash receipts to customers Regularly creates and provides previously processed compensation statements for sales partners, using templated statements and email messaging Initiates collections actions and responds to inquiries regarding same Communicates cancellation status, fees, and necessary remediation actions to internal groups and customers Data Maintenance and Cleansing Constantly reviews and reconciles data across multiple systems and statuses sold, boarded, invoiced, paid, compensated, past due/suspended, cancelled, etc. Creates templated import/export files for updating various systems; has an understanding of various system integrations Thorough understanding of all reporting logic and ability to consistently format data to fit business reporting and dashboard needs (at all levels) What are the requirements? High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite Applications Self-starting personality; ability to accurately prioritize and manage responsibilities for multiple groups and hierarchy levels simultaneously Ability to identify problems and process gaps, solve for same, and present facts and recommended solutions; constantly seeks process improvement Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to quickly gauge the most appropriate way to relay information at all levels (including external to the group/company) Collections/Accounts Receivable maintenance skills Meticulous and detail-oriented and consistently accurate Extremely thorough research skills; ability to confidently, professionally, and assertively relay facts and positions on various Accounting issues Preferred Qualifications: Oracle Cloud experience B2B Sales process experience, especially including those involving channels/resellers Salesforce experience highly valued it is the 'master' of the records that impact this position Process documentation experience Ability and willingness to occasionally work outside of normal schedule and occasionally travel, if needed Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Experience working in a publicly traded company. - ID#: ********* - Location: Pearl River, NY - Type: Other - Company: Heartland Payment Systems Share - View More Jobs! - Post your resume - Create an Alert - Found a mis-fit listing?
