For more information, visit www.gf.com.Summary of Role: The PMO lead is a Senior Project Manager within the Project Management Organization. The PMO lead will drive execution of internal programs in the Globalfoundries IT organization. The PMO lead is responsible for PMO governance, methodology and standards and other PMO standards within the program Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drive program as per defined methodology and GlobalFoundries PMO standards
  • Ensure management of all related projects within the program as part of governance's group
  • Assess compliance of the inflight projects to its original objectives
  • Review changes in scope and prioritization, and ensure appropriate approval
  • Ensure a set of business-level requirements are defined and align with strategy & objectives, as agreed by all stakeholders
  • Ensure an agreed upon specification for the project deliverables
  • Review a current, published project plan that spans all project stages
  • Ensure and enable accurate status- and progress-reporting
  • Ensure appropriate management and resolution of issues that arise during the project
  • Ensure appropriate management, communication and resolution of risks identified during the project
  • Periodically review quality of key governance documents and of project deliverablesOther Responsibilities:
    • Must be able to work end to end processes, across the work streams to connect the dots
    • Be able to view the high-level picture and able to be trying out process with technology
    • Lead all aspects of multi-phase transition program.
    • Oversee program/ project timelines, deliverables, and internal/external project resources.
    • Guide team members from concept to implementation phases and troubleshoot complex issuesRequired Qualifications:
      • Education - Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Program Management, or related discipline is required.
      • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
      • Experience - 10+ years' experience in program/ project management with a strong track record for on-time and on-budget performance while leading large, complex programs
      • 8-10 years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development
      • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
      • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
      • Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
      • Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
      • Travel - Up to 10%
      • Fluency in English Language - written & verbalPreferred Qualifications:
        • Agile Scrum Master is preferred.
        • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
        • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint)
        • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
        • Must be comfortable in matrix management environments and work effectively with others in managing complex projects and proven track record of successfully leading teams of consultants through entire project life cycle process.Expected Salary Range$94,000.00 - $204,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
