the Digital department, this role will need to be technologically,
operationally, and commercially minded. We're seeking a digital
media and marketing thought leader to oversee multiple teams of
high-performing digital media buying, platforms experts, and
account managers. A collaborative, proactive, and dynamic
leadership style with the ability to work cross functionally within
the organization is integral for success.This role oversees all of
the direct-to-publisher, paid social, programmatic, and SEM
business across iNvolved Media & Active International - spanning
all digital platforms as well as key direct vendor trade
partnerships. They will need to be a forward-thinking digital
expert and marketing leader with the ability to manage, inspire,
and grow a large team of individuals across disciplines, seniority
levels, and backgrounds.As a key leader within the organization,
this individual will need to be sales and revenue minded,
collaborating with our sales division on new business efforts to
represent the groups digital subject matter expertise as the
highest level. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a unique
balance entrepreneurial agility in addition to genuine passion and
ongoing intrigue for the ever-changing digital media landscape. As
data and analytics will continue to play an integral role in
digital media, an ongoing background-and understanding
for-quantifying and qualifying audience and performance metrics
will be critical to success in this role. Responsibilities Oversee
all platform-based and direct IO digital media business across
iNvolved Media & Active International, managing strategic
development and implementation of cross-channel digital advertising
and data strategies to ensure clients deliver on their business
objectives.Lead, inspire, and foster growth for a team of media
buying professionals:
Talent acquisition and retention, organizational structure, career
development, resource allocation, onboarding and training programs,
and integration within the larger organization.
Oversee all new business development and partnerships to ensure new
contracts and campaigns are commercially viable, with a focus on
gross profit generation.
Work alongside Head of Data & Analytics to ensure internal and
external data processes and reporting systems deliver on
objectives.
Collaborate with media department heads to take advantage of the
full depth of offerings across both linear and digital,
company-wide, inclusive of trade offerings. Work alongside Digital
trade leader to develop new partnerships to help generate leveraged
positions with media providers to facilitate our client's media
placements through trade.
Partner with Client Development and Sales teams across the
organization to represent digital capabilities in senior level
management, new business, and priority account presentations.
Serve as a digital thought leader, educator, and representative for
the organization internally and externally facing.
Liaise with EVP, Media to develop department budget and EBITDA
goals and provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to achieve
budgeted financial targets.
Identify and implement improvements to company practices, process,
partnership models, and deal structures as it pertains to key
account success - with a focus on increasing margin and overall
gross profit generation.
Oversee new product development initiatives to ensure they align
with agency priorities and overarching revenue strategies.Lead a
cross-functional and collaborative team to ensure digital advocacy,
education, and adoption of best practices across the wider
organization.
Analyze market research data and develop strategies to break into
new or under-developed markets.
Demonstrate year-over-year revenue increases, new client
generation, and team builds.Supervisory Responsibilities
This position is responsible for managing all digital media
professionals - comprised of VP's, Directors, Managers, Buyers,
Specialists, Coordinators & Assistants - approximately 20-25
people.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is
required.
12+ years' experience in related agency account management, sales,
business development or marketing role is required
With at least 8 years digital media experience required
Direct platform buying experience preferred (Facebook, Google,
Trade Desk, DV360, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and Twitter)
At least 10 years managing a team is required, with at least 5
years managing a team of 10+Experience with business development,
revenue strategy & pipelining, is required
Highly skilled in digital audience and platform sales
management
Proven success is multi-faceted role (Sales/Strategy/Media
Buying/Management/Team Lead/Client Services/etc.)
Experience in utilizing and leveraging data & analytics to form a
point of view and strong value proposition for clientele.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, ever-evolving and highly
complex integrated environment.
Proven people leader with articulate verbal skills and strong
management portfolio
Strong understanding of the digital media landscape and keen
interest in emerging technologies
Demonstrated problem solving abilities with leadership,
professionalism, and integrityTravel
Willingness to travel for client and agency meetings, conferences
