We're looking for a well-rounded and strategic Marketing Director with creative fluency to develop, execute, and evaluate all marketing programs. You will report to CEO and be responsible for the core marketing strategy of the company. Who We Are: Welcome to the sweet life! Swoon is the beverage company on a mission to take sugar down while keeping life sweet. For us it's personal. Launched by a childhood diabetic and a mom, our drinks are the classics made healthy. We use monk fruit and plant-based ingredients to focus on celebrating, not second-guessing. Our zero sugar line of drinks features mixers, syrups, lemonades and iced teas. Featured in NYTimes, Well+Good, and PureWow who called our monk fruit syrup "the closest thing to sugar we've tried." We've grown quickly into 3000+ stores nationwide, with plans to launch new products and new markets. Role: We're looking for a well-rounded and strategic Marketing Director with creative fluency to develop, execute, and evaluate all marketing programs. In this role, you will report to CEO and be responsible for creating and implementing the core marketing strategy of the company across paid and unpaid tactics. This includes, but is not limited to, brand marketing, retail marketing, field marketing, social media, PR, as well as performance marketing, demand generation, and analytics. You will lead a talented team which includes in-house creative talent, retail marketing, and an external digital agency.-- The ideal candidate has experience in CPG and has operated across traditional retail and e-commerce. They are dedicated, proactive, and a positive team player, with a passion for health, wellness and sweets! Key Responsibilities: -- Develop, lead, and execute Swoon's marketing strategy and budget; align resources and priorities consistent with the overall business and growth strategy -- Lead and manage a talented team towards clear goals-- -- Manage all marketing channels and brand communications including in-store programming, email, social media, PR, influencer, brand partnerships, field marketing, events, digital advertising and more -- Create and manage marketing calendar, advertising and promotion activities across all channels -- Oversee the development and distribution of original content across owned channels -- Able to write creative briefs and project manage creative -- Set KPIs, measure and report on the performance of all activities and campaigns and adjust strategy and activities to raise the bar -- Refine brand position and brand voice-- -- Develop brand partnerships with like-minded brands and influencers to drive awareness and sales-- -- Identify, vet and manage outside performance marketing agencies, creative agencies and freelancers to meet the needs of a rapidly growing business-- -- Set growth plans for the team and foster a team culture while being a thought partner to the CEO

Qualifications: -- Bachelor's degree with a record of high academic achievement (MBA preferred)-- -- Prior experience in CPG required -- 7+ years of experience in Brand and Retail Marketing across channels with strong management experience (understands performance marketing) -- Experience in a traditional retail marketing role with a company that is omni-channel-- -- Strong vision and influential leadership to drive the business forward-- -- Highly analytical, strategic, hands-on and creative-- -- Ability to set performance goals, KPIs and analyze metrics -- Design-oriented, with eye for brand-forward content-- -- Solid understanding of distributor and retail operations and of appropriate brand-building and local marketing tactics to achieve growth and brand equity goals -- Self-motivated, energetic and adaptable; open to wearing multiple hats within a flexible start-up environment-- -- Demonstrated success growing market share and mind share; prior experience at a high growth startup or new-to-the-world brand is a plus -- Not afraid to get down and dirty unpacking boxes -- Passionate about taking sugar down, healthy living, and the Swoon mission!
