About Us: Gloss Media is a young, fun NYC-based experiential marketing company -focused on engaging the female consumer as she goes about her day through a blend of digital and experiential media platforms. Description : We are currently seeking an Advertising Sales Director based in our Union Square office. This person will be responsible for negotiating and selling advertising and marketing solutions across all Gloss Media platforms. We are seeking an experienced salesperson with a strong history of success in building agency/client relationships who also has strong presentation skills. The new hire will be a self -motivated team player who consistentlystrives to exceed goals and who ideally has an extensive knowledge of the non-traditional OH industry. The position reports to the VP, Advertising Sales. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing client base of both client direct and agencies in a predetermined sales territory. 15% travel required.
  • Develop new business through existing contacts and new prospecting. Deep dive required.
  • Handle all phases of the selling cycle from prospecting through to close and regularly report accurate revenue projections.
  • Attain and exceed established revenue goals through innovative, creative and strategic selling.
  • We supply all the necessary tools - you bring the magic. Requirements/Skills/Experience:
    • Must have a 4+ years of experience in alternative/ non-traditional OOH media sales, with approve track record of sales success.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment with grace under pressure.
    • A self-starter who instinctively takes charge, has a positive 'team player' approach, and is comfortable in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
    • Analytical/strategic thinker, creative problem solver, roll-up sleeves resourceful, able to effect innovation and creativity.
    • Self-motivated team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations. Uncapped commission structure - the hungrier you are the better.
    • Deep rolodex of industry contacts and positive relationships with advertising agencies/marketing executives at the client level.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Great both on the phone and face to face.
    • High level of competence in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Salesforce. Compensation :
