JOB TITLE: Dir of Performance Marketing, Lord & Taylor
REPORTS TO: VP Performance Marketing, Saadia Direct
BUSINESS/ LOCATION: Brand Headquarters, NYC
OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for driving innovative,
actionable, and efficient performance marketing campaigns that
build awareness and drive traffic, conversion sales and customer
acquisition. The Dir of Performance Marketing will partner with the
Ecommerce Team, and online and offline Marketing teams, to drive
sales across all channels. They will be responsible for online
customer acquisition/retention channels (paid Search and Shopping,
SEO, Display, Affiliates, Paid Social) and online marketing
initiatives
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage online marketing programs (paid search, SEO, display,
affiliates) to drive customer acquisition and total company
sales
- Create comprehensive and integrated digital marketing campaigns
to support company-wide initiatives including annual events,
seasonal promotions, and ad hoc promotions
- Develop and execute strategies within each marketing program to
improve program performance, grow sales, and acquire customers
- Evaluate and manage supporting agencies
- Devise and execute a comprehensive and integrated mobile first
marketing strategy
- Collaborate cross functionally to ensure a cohesive marketing
message across all customer touch points
- Develop and deliver regular reporting on program performance both
online and in stores
- Understand and work with the company's Social Media strategy to
help build brand and acquire customers through all paid
channels
- Execute paid media strategy across existing social platforms
including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest,
Instagram, Tik Tok etc. Stay aware of new and emerging platforms
and incorporate as appropriate
- Coordinate cross functionally to ensure the appropriate assets
are developed and messaging is consistent while still being social
appropriate
- Possess up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and applies best
practices to existing problems
- Work with key business partners to manage Website Analytics
Programs
- Monitor campaign effectiveness through analysis. Develop and
maintain results tracking and reporting vehicles utilizing third
party analysis software. Evaluate new tools and means to better
measure results from existing marketing programs
- Develop and execute a robust test and learn program
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years Performance/Digital Marketing experience, including
specific e-commerce experience.
- Must be self-sufficient and results-oriented, with strong
hands-on Marketing background
- Attention to detail, ability to work independently in a
fast-paced deadline-oriented environment necessary
- Previous experience managing outside resources including
interactive marketing agencies required
- Strong Excel, Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture expertise
required
- Is flexible in responding to organizational changes and business
priorities.
- Works effectively under deadline pressure or in unusual or new
work situations.
- Working knowledge of Capture One, Adobe Photoshop, Excel, Word,
Outlook
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree required
