We are proud to be one of the nation's top reverse mortgage lenders.We are seeking an experienced Email Marketing Specialist who is proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This newly created position reports to the head of marketing based in our Melville, NY office or may be based remotely. The ideal candidate should be data oriented, strategic and analytical, understand our brand and aesthetic, deliver innovative content and brand messaging while coming up with strategic and creative ways to expand the newsletter subscriber bases, webinar attendance, re-engage leads --- overall improve email marketing performance across the company. Looking for a motivated individual who thinks outside the box, has an entrepreneurial spirit and can work on multiple priorities. Email marketing is an important component of what we do and how we stay in touch with prospects and partners. We want to take our email marketing to the next level to better support our businesses.This position supports the company's B2B and B2C efforts. Influencers include the following audiences: financial advisors, attorneys, realtors, builders, mortgage brokers/bankers and credit unions /community banks. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • The email marketing specialist will own day-to-day execution of email sends via Salesforce Marketing Cloud, organize and maintain email marketing calendar.
    • This role will also analyze and report on campaign performance, create and implement strategies (segmentation, triggers, new communication flows, A/B tests) to improve KPI's.
      • Collaborate with team and advertising agencies on ways to nurture and cultivate leads – moving them along to a product decision.
      • Analyze ways to shorten a lead's journey from inquiry to buyer – work with the marketing strategy / communications team to build out content and promotions to support this effort.

        • Develop & execute prospect/influencer engagement, acquisition, and reactivation email campaigns, supporting campaign goals and initiatives.
          • Own the prospect "journey" - testing email sequences and timing and SMS text outreach.
            • The Email Marketing Specialist will report on KPIs (open & click-through rates, engagement etc.) and focus on driving customer engagement through proactive testing, data analysis and analytics.
              • Work cross-functionally to align email strategy with marketing creative teams on email copywriting and strategic communications. This person will work closely with internal team and agency on new campaign launches, priorities, tests and reporting.
                • Monitor campaign performance, relevant KPIs and analyze data to get smart insights, send weekly reports on all findings.
                • Work with marketing ops team to ensure all campaigns can be properly tracked, can be reported on by management. Additionally, working closely with marketing operations on campaign details, workflows and ways to route inquiries/inbound calls correctly.
                • Work cross-functionally with other marketers, sales managers, data management team and IT to develop campaigns.
                • Constantly review best practices to improve email performance. Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
                  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
                  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Marketing Cloud (Cloud pages, Journey Builder, Cloud Connect and Distributed Marketing).
                  • Excellent time Strong management with the ability to prioritize multiple projects at one time.
                  • Expert understanding of CAN-SPAM law requirements, UTM parameters and tagging. Education and Prior Experience Required
                    • Bachelor's Degree required.
                      • 3-5 years of experience in Digital Marketing or related field with an email-heavy role.
                        • Experience with list building and segmentation.
                          • Experience with Google Analytics and Datorama (or Tableau) is a plus.
