Responsibilities Your Role and Responsibilities: Product Marketing
is at the intersection of Marketing, Product Management, Sellers,
and Business Partners. As a Product Marketer, you will be
responsible for articulating the point of view and value
proposition for IBM's application resource management (ARM)
offerings and audiences we serve, to grow the market share for IBM
Turbonomic portfolio with Ecosystem partners, Strategic partners
and OEMs. We are seeking a product marketing champion to drive the
outcome of connecting differentiated POVs with the right buyers and
partners, measured by new signings, retention rates, average
customer value, absolute and trend NPS, market segment share, win
loss rate, analyst ranking, and social influence. You will be part
of IBM Software business unit and a key stakeholder in driving the
future of IBM's AIOps business. The Product Marketer will be: The
market catalyst for AIOps team, providing guiding views on key
problems, competitors, and differentiators grounded in data
Respected by cross-functional peers for their ability to identify
opportunities, distinctive competencies, and positioning Compelling
storytellers who influence analysts, customers, and partners
towards IBM's offerings The launch linchpin that galvanizes
internal support across all channels and drives demand for the
offerings Active in customer and partner conversations whether at
events or in the field and online Key responsibilities: Be the
Voice of the Customer, advocating a point of view that serves
customer and partner needs and differentiates our offerings
Quantify and segment the market opportunity based on patterns of
unmet needs, understanding how we compare versus the competition
Understand the personas (buyer, influencer, user) of a buying
cohort Articulate IBM's point of view, marrying the unmet needs of
the target segment with a differentiated solution, and describe how
the solution attributes deliver desired outcomes Activate the
Marketing team to bring the point of view to life with meaningful
campaigns Source the prioritized stories and use cases and
communicate them effectively to the business, identifying the best
routes-to-market to serve those needs Message the value of IBM's
offerings for customers and partners - wherever they are - on a
journey of IT transformation Required Technical and Professional
Expertise
- 8+ Years Product Marketing Experience Preferred Technical and
Professional Expertise Experience working with IT automation
products and/or services Experience working with Partners or OEMs
