Reporting directly to the Vice President, Growth, the Director of Marketing, Growth is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of marketing campaigns and strategies that display Ad Hoc's capabilities in the government market in support of the continued expansion of Ad Hoc's Growth organization and business. The Growth team is responsible for driving expansion into new and existing customers, building partnerships, and leading awareness of market trends and opportunities. This team is led by our VP, Growth and is organized into the areas of Client Strategy, Proposal Operations, Strategic Partnerships, Client Technical Solutions, and Marketing. This is a closely collaborative role, and the Director of Marketing is expected to work with the growth leadership team and corporate communications team to support and drive Ad Hoc's government marketing objectives.
The Director of Marketing is responsible for (Essential Functions):


  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients, and using the trends to make strategic recommendations
  • Identifying and monitoring different agencies that are driving impact in the customer experience industry and generating Ad Hoc brand awareness with key stakeholders
  • Developing, implementing, and managing government marketing and brand campaigns to achieve Ad Hoc's organization-wide and individual Business Unit goals.
  • Building and maintaining growth campaign performance metrics to report out to VP, Growth in regular reports and brief Senior Leadership and Executives as needed, including aligning event attendance with new opportunities.
  • Identifying priority areas for growth marketing campaigns and communicating trade offs and the best allocation of growth marketing budget to the VP, Growth and Senior Leadership and Executives.
  • Regularly evaluating and measuring results of return on marketing investment and participating in analyzing pipeline health to help target future marketing.
  • Leading and managing Ad Hoc's growth marketing team, who are responsible for supporting all business units in new and organic growth initiatives.
  • Working cross-functionally with the Growth team and Communications team to manage multiple projects and priorities and coordinate efforts between partners, customers, and Ad Hoc teams.
  • Playing an integral role in setting strategies for and achieving Ad Hoc's growth goals.
  • Working collaboratively to lead others towards meeting the organization's mission and goals while promoting an inclusive and positive work environment.
  • Creating and maintaining cross-departmental relationships to enable leadership and organizational success and communicating customer insights from marketing investments and marketing programs.
  • Ensuring that all systems operate smoothly and, in coordination with QA Manager, align with ISO and CMMI quality standards.
  • Maximizing the operating potential of the Growth team to exceed customers' expectations and company goals.

    Requirements

    • Qualified candidates will have a minimum 10-15 years of overall work experience
    • Preferred minimum 5-10 years marketing experience, ideally within the Government Contracting field
    • Understanding of target government customer needs to be able to effectively market Ad Hoc's capabilities to support Growth
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrates experience managing multiple priorities
    • Outstanding time management and organization skills
    • Leads strategic change related to organizational goals, both internally and externally
    • Driven by results, both in terms of meeting organizational goals and customer expectations
    • Business acumen related to human, financial, and sales information management
    • Political savvy and awareness of and ability to respond to operating environment
    • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
    • Experience with federal contracting marketing required
