The Copywriter/Content Manager will be responsible for executing copy tasks at both a high level and granular one, focusing on the big picture as much as the fine details of each deliverable. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience with a portfolio demonstrating omni-channel copywriting, preferably with experience in the fashion/retail industry. This individual should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be capable of juggling multiple projects at a time, and is expected to actively contribute to the development of marketing solutions and create polished, final deliverables whether working alone or under the guidance of the Editorial Director.The Copywriter/Content Manager will work on projects including, but not limited to, product naming and tagline creation, writing product descriptions, social copy, targeted paid ads, email copy, voiceover scripts, campaign concepts, brand communication messages, and should be familiar with best practices in writing e-commerce site and product copy.
A key cross-functional team member, the Copywriter/Content Manager will be a dedicated team member who works well under pressure with the ability to prioritize tasks according to business needs. The ideal candidate will possess a lifestyle brand/multibrand retail background, have passion for their work, have knowledge of textiles and/or clothing construction, enjoy learning and working on new platforms, and have excellent copy edit skills.
Key Responsibilities: - - - - - - - -Write copy for the brand across all platforms, from print mailers and postcards to emails and blog features. - - - - - - -Ideate and write copy that supports business objectives and is able to work within the framework of various design templates. - - - - - - -Collaborate with creative team members to determine the conceptual and copy direction of various deliverables across platforms. - - - - - - -Work closely with cross-functional partners to provide editorial, creative and copy support. - - - - - - -Proof copy on final deliverables. - - - - - - -Work closely with Editorial Director in the development of a Copy Style Guide to ensure tone and style are consistent with the visual tone and style of the brand. - - - - - - -Support the Editorial Director in day-to-day operations. - - - - - - -Self-manage workload. - - - - - - -Complete copy projects on time, ensuring adequate time for revisions and creative reviews.
