About the job
This is a senior sales advisor role that will sit on the Americas
TME leadership team and be foundational to driving account growth,
collaborating and leading large/complex opportunity cycles in
addition to developing the go-to-market strategy in Media &
Entertainment.
To collaborate with the existing Global TME M&E team, TME
strategy & technology team, broader Red Hat ecosystem team and
product & engineering team to build and execute an America's TME,
M&E strategy along with the existing sales team. - - -
This will involve engaging with Media & Entertainment customer
stakeholders (executives, business owners, technical decision
makers) on strategic opportunities within target accounts across
the Americas TME segment. - This will involve positioning business
value directly through Red Hat and its respective ecosystem
partners to drive increased adoption and consumption within the
Media & Entertainment segment.
What you will do
- Develop an Americas TME M&E Strategy that aligns with
global segment strategy, account strategy and can be executed in
year to drive incremental revenue.
- Partner with lead customers to build business cases that
demonstrate the value Red Hat solutions can deliver and build a
repeatable sales play that can be used throughout the
region/globe.
- Lead critical customer presentations/sessions around business
problems, Red Hat solutions, business value, competitive
positioning, as well as - product capabilities and
roadmaps.
- Leverage your deep industry experience and customer
understanding to help drive portfolio decisions that may be needed
within Red Hat to address this market (features, updates, success
stories) and build "plays."
- Be prepared to own strategic new opportunities, drive closure
across multiple stakeholders and understand how to be capable of
driving a technical close.
- Speak/Present and be a Red Hat advocate at various industry
conferences, associations and media outlets to help drive awareness
of Red Hat's capabilities in this space.
- Ultimately be responsible to drive pipeline development growth
and increase our revenue within this group of customers.
What you will bring
- 15+ years - experience in selling/business development in the
M&E industry (customer, partner, vendor) in both NA and
LATAM.
- Strong industry knowledge and technology and/or business
foundation (business-focused SA, Tech Leader, Product Manager, Big
6 Consultant, Specialist, App Dev delivery, start-up AE) with the
ability to translate how technology addresses customers business
needs.
- Passion and curiosity about the market, related technologies
and its future, demonstrated by what they read, follow, subscribe
to, listen to, etc.
- Strategic thinker and seller who sees beyond selling an
individual product to address a single need - with demonstrated
persuasion and influencing skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit; motivated to run their own business
within the role and function.
- Highly effective orchestrator and collaborator with the ability
to lead a cross-functional team (internal and partner ecosystem)
through a complex sales cycle.
- Compelling presenter of business and technical topics.
- Boardroom/C-suite experience and presence: charismatic,
outgoing and able to 'own the room' as well as connect
individually.
