Job Description Commvault is seeking an experienced, energetic, and business-savvy Field Marketer to lead marketing in the Named Accounts & Geo Select regions, developing territory strategies, influencing national demand generation partner campaigns, and serving as the "local CMO" to the East region. We serve over 50,000 customers worldwide, employ over 2,000 people and during this exciting wave of growth were looking for the right rock star to join our Field Marketing team. In short, we need to transform and scale our marketing contribution to the business. A key element of that goal is executing on our vision for the right kind field marketer who is powered by innovation and a thirst to develop a real demand generation practice. This position is located in our global headquarters in Tinton Falls, NJ but the team is open to all Remote workers in the East region as well. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to speak the language of the business, translating marketing metrics into business drivers that Sales cares about. The role reports to the head of Americas Field Marketing and is a key contributor to the marketing best practices in the field. Position Responsibilities Include: Drive territory planning and execution with sales stakeholders to build field marketing event and program calendars to increase awareness, drive engagement, generate leads, and support conversion rates. Plan and manage the flow of leads from field events into marketing automation systems and to sales team stakeholders to maximize pipeline generation and conversion. Effectively manage budgets and evaluate ROI of all campaigns. Evaluate strategic partner and third party event co-marketing opportunities. Collaborate with WW digital marketing and campaigns resources to monitor email marketing metrics (opens, click-throughs, deliverability, registrations, etc.) and analyze/report the results to make recommendations for enhancing effectiveness (tests, etc.). Manage all aspects of event coordination for their events including: materials creation, event messaging/marketing, signage, giveaways, contract negotiation, vendor relations, site selection, registration, agenda scheduling, staffing, on-site production and F&B, and logistics. Conduct post-event evaluations and ROI analysis; report and share results and recommendations with sales team and FMM team. Deliver Projects within agreed timelines and in budge using effective project management. Support other event team members in planning and managing industry tradeshows, user groups, field enablement workshops, and customer events as applicable. Position Requirements Include: Bachelor's Degree required. MBA a plus. 7 years in field marketing, channel marketing, demand generation, or digital marketing, preferably in a B2B environment. 5 years experience executing demand generation campaigns. 5 years working with channel partners. 3 years managing digital marketing programs including content marketing, inbound marketing, social media, and paid media. Knowledge of data management or data backup & recovery market a plus but not required. Knowledge of enterprise software or IT market a plus but not required. Knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus. Knowledge of Marketo or other marketing automation platforms a plus.
