Regulatory Reporting Specialist (SME) -- New York - Cutting-edge Regulatory Compliance software. Excellent package - $120k to $160k + benefits -Do you have previous experience of the implementation of major regulatory changes?Do you have knowledge of the regulatory reporting requirements across multiple regulators/jurisdictions?If you do, then we need to talk. We are currently seeking a Regulatory Reporting Specialist to be responsible for providing consultancy to some of the world's largest Banking clients in relation to their regulatory reporting requirements for all the relevant authorities operating in the US. You will be responsible for the following:-Maintaining a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the regulatory reporting requirements, both within jurisdictions for which the client already provides a solution, and for new requirements and jurisdictions.Using this knowledge to undertake the analysis and design of product developments to satisfy new or changed reporting requirements.Preparing and maintaining the test scenarios, test data and expected results necessary to perform functional testing of product enhancements and new solutions.The ideal candidate would be able to show they have a detailed level of knowledge around specific Federal Reserve reporting requirements (FRY9C, FFIEC031, FFIEC041 returns, for example) preparing, reviewing and submitting returns. This is a 'hands-on' analytical role and an important aspect of your remit is to identify common solutions to the reporting requirements of disparate jurisdictions, where generic components can be designed and developed once, and then re-used across a number of product solutions.As a Regulatory Reporting Specialist you will be part of a specialist global team of regulatory subject matter experts, responsibilities include:-Monitor U.S and Canadian regulators' websites for prospective up-and-coming regulatory reporting changes, and liaise with the regulatory authorities.Use strong analytical and investigative/questioning skills to break down regulatory documents into a structured and manageable set of requirements.Translate the requirements into design specifications that can be used by the technical development team to implement the required changes and enhancements to the product.Create and maintain test scenarios that replicate client data, including the definition of appropriate test data and expected results, and undertake acceptance testing of new product releases before delivery to the existing client base.Review and comment on product release documentation.Assess the product software, identifying areas where functional improvements can be made, and liaise with the software development team.Monitor the internal case management system (Jira) used by clients to log support issues and suspected product defects.Regulatory Analyst - Regulatory SME - Regulatory Reporting - Regulatory Software - Business Consultant - Basel III - FRY-14 (A,Q,M), Liquidity (2052 A/B Reporting)- Banking - Finance - -IFRS/US GAAP reporting - Dodd-Frank - -Regulatory Reporting Product Analyst - Regulatory Reporting SpecialistRequirements:3 to 5 years of work experience working within the regulatory reporting domain.Knowledge of the regulatory reporting requirements across multiple regulators/jurisdictions.Exposure to and knowledge of a wide range of financial instruments.Worked with Regulatory Software in the past.A sense of humour always helps!This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a prestigious, global organisation; a quietly understated company with an impressive global client base that provides seamless and intelligent Risk based banking and insurance software technology to many of the world's top financial organisations.
