Assistant, Associate, or Full Teaching Professor in Nutrition and/or Exercise Physiology Department of Nutrition & Exercise Physiology
-- The University of Missouri invites applications for a non -tenure track online teaching faculty position in exercise physiology at any level - Assistant to Full Professor. This position will involve developing and teac hing undergraduate online exercise and fitness courses for a new undergraduate degree program, B.S. in Fitness Programming and Management (FPM). FPM is 100% online and is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to assist individuals acro ss the lifespan in adopting physical activity, exercise, and other healthy behaviors that lead to optimal health. The mission of the Department of Nutrition and Exercise Physiology at the University of Missouri is to improve the health of Missourians and t he larger population through research, teaching and outreach related to nutrition and physical activity. Qualifications The successful applicant will have, at a minimum, a Masters or PhD in Exercise Physi ology or closely related discipline. Strong preference is given to applicants with a record of accomplishment of quality on -line instruction. Having ACSM or other certifications in the field is also desired.
