An education organization in New York City is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Evaluating Psychologist to join their growing staff. In this role, the Evaluating Psychologist will work collaboratively with school leadership, students, parents, teachers, and school support staff to help students reach their goals. Responsibilities The Evaluating Psychologist will: Conduct Psycho-educational evaluations for scholars referred for IEPs Participate in IEP Meetings and/or provide consultation for challenging IEP cases Join and support building level RTI Meetings across schools Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments for scholars as needed Collaborate on the development of Behavior Intervention Plans Qualifications Valid New York State School Psychologist certification Experience with a variety of psycho-educational and behavioral assessment tools Passionate about learning and education Demonstrates initiative Team-oriented Excellent communication skills Highly organized Strong attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills
