Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in
Hartford, CT, serving K-12 students in a school-based setting. This
contract position offers hands-on involvement in assessing,
planning, and implementing speech therapy services to support
students communication needs. Key responsibilities include:
Assessing and interpreting evaluation results and test data to
determine appropriate treatment plans or prescriptions tailored to
each students needs Collaborating closely with teachers, direct
staff, and multidisciplinary team members to design and carry out
effective speech-language intervention programs Assisting students
in developing or regaining speech functionality and adjusting to
disabilities through proven SLP methodologies Maintaining accurate
documentation consistent with school and state guidelines
Qualifications and experience sought: Valid State of Connecticut
Speech Pathology license is required 5-10 years of professional
experience working in educational environments or with individuals
with disabilities in instructional settings Certification in
Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) or completion of Clinical
Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred Located in Hartford, this onsite
